Speed speed and more speed. You're way more likely to get hurt by undershooting it. Send it

Make sure you have them dialed on smaller jumps, then just huck and pray. Remember on a bigger jump you will have to rotate less fast.

Carve 3s feel easier on big jumps for me and if you need you can shifty it to 5

Go early in morning so u cant catch an edge and it wont matter if u land at 270 or 4 youll just revert out.

Tucking my knees in when I do big 3s and 5s helps me stay in control and guides a smoother rotation. Much lower chance of flailing mid-air.

I chugged a bunch of red bull before the first slope comp I ever did and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack and literally flew off the first jump and just went limp out of sheer panic.

Beside speed, one thing you'll have to do is to send the spin slower : you're going to have a LOT more air time. On bigger jumps you can't recover from a hucked rotation as well as on small lips. Think of the rotation more of a 180 + 180 (or 360 + 180 for the 5s) : spin 180°, grab when you face the lip, then turn around and spot the landing.
