Faction Prodigy 2.0

I'm 6'2" 210 lbs type 3+ skier on the East Coast. I'm thinking about getting Faction Prodigy 2.0 for trips to NY/VT and out West. I used to ski park a lot (mainly rails and medium jumps), but I'm not sure I will this year since I had my ACL reconstructed in June. I just got cleared to ski so I was planning to get the Prodigy's for all-mountain sending plus some park action when I make some ski trips.

I was riding on Atomic Backland 102s (188cm) last year which seemed like a great size but I never took these in the park. Will 189 Prodigy's be too big?

If you liked 188 you won't even notice the difference for 189. I use Prodigy 2s for park and all mountain and I like them a lot.

That's what I'm thinking - thanks for the advice!

What kind of mounting did you do for your bindings?

When I first got them my mom took them in to get mounted without me and they were at recommended. I used that for a while and then got them moved to center. I kind of wish I hadn't, they felt a lot better for all mountain at recommended. If I got them again I would probably do like -2 from center

rec line is -5 -2 will be fine as well, but

189 is no worries

189 will be good, it measures true at 187. I have a 2.0 and it’s arguably my favorite ski I’ve ever owned, I use mine as a daily and park ski. There used to be a freestyle line and a traditional line, I split the difference and ended up around 2.5 or 3cm back from center and they’re perfect there. This years ski has a recommended of like -7 so I would suggest bumping forward 4cm or so to get the best out of the ski!
