I was gonna make a joke about getting some sort of ski protective gear so you'll look like a fucking idiot, but honestly it seems like you might be able to get some and just wear it under your pants/jacket. As long as nobody sees u with shit like that on ur fine. Also don't try rails that are tall enough for you to get nutted on. Or... just smoke a blunt before u try something new. 10/10 strat would recommend.

can you set up a little PVC in your yard or something? you just need a session alone where you can convince yourself to jump onto that rail and see it isn't so bad. if you fall you won't be injured

just start really really small, then once you have a few of the fundamentals going, you can post a video on here for people to give you feedback on (super useful), and/or next time you're with people you can let the peer pressure/hype convince you to put your basics to the test

remember, flex your core, LEAN FORWARD. there, i just saved you 5 falls at the beginning

If you're confident in your technique then you'll have a lot less of a mental block. practice on a box and the transition to a low rail will be a lot easier.

work on setting up and doing a full pop and turn onto a low box. it looks a little goofy but if you can do that without slipping out you can for sure slide a small rail

Just go for it, accept that if you eat shit it might hurt, but chances are you won't die. But if you do crash you'll know about how its gonna be if it happens again and you can kinda just push it to the back of your mind and then send it on any feature you want

Freestyle skiing is and always will be a physical and mental battle. Get used to falling, a lot. If you want to progress, you’ll fall and get dinged up/ get hurt. It’s just part of it!
