a_pla5tic_bagYou used BDogs?
No, those are full edgeless. I have a pair of hybrid edgeless ON3P's that I've been riding for awhile. They have a number of advantages in the park over a full edge ski. So first off, you will never stick to rails again. They get slow and have more or less friction sometimes, but they never have the dangerous STICK that metal edges can have. Secondly since there is no edge underfoot, you don't get edge cracks, which means the ski doesn't lost it's integrity which means that the ski won't delaminate like a full edge ski will. They are mortal don't get me wrong, but in my experience so far, they have deteriorated much slower than a normal ski on rails here in the midwest (your mileage may vary, this is only my experience). Also because you DO have a lot of metal edge on the ski, they grip pretty well even when it's hardpack or borderline ice but no one grips ice unless you're a racer. Overall they are probably a more effective park weapon for most park skiers imo. Maybe if you hit a lot of big jumps and do a lot of dubs you want full edge for extra grab and confidence, but for us normies... I think these skis are a great answer.
