You know they only ask that to do with Dins right a type 3 skier would prefer there skis to stay on in a fall like most more advanced/expert skiers

Yeah there's some other rating system, I think it's the system some instructors use, goes from 1 to 9+ I think. Def threw me first time I heard it lol
