Modifying full tilts

I have twall boots and I want to make them more of a “performance” fit.

I am thinking of getting a new liner for them that fits more tightly around my foot for my shell, I have a 27.5 shell. Do they sell something that takes up more space I can use? I did the finger test and I have roughly 2 fingers behind my heel but when the boots are on my toe lightly grazes the front but when I lean in it comes back a lot.

I am also thinking of getting a stiffer tongue like 10-12 rather than the 6 that mine comes with.

is there a possibility for shorter cables as well because I max the top 2 buckles out at all.

yes these were fitted by a boot fitter and I tried all sorts of boots on and they fit well when I bought them.

1. Does you heel lift at all? If it does, try a heel riser.
2. Shorter cables would be the easiest to do, at the shop im at we have plenty in the shop, also stiffer tongues.

I dont see the benefit of reducing the space for your toes personally, as long as your foot doesn't move side to side. Personally, especially for the younger kids, we will layer foam/shims under the footbed of the snowboard boots (and sometimes ski boots) to make them smaller, you could try that to reduce the space in the boot, its also the safest option price wise.

Did this with my old FTs after not having enough money to buy new ones. Get an Intuition liner heat molded, buy the 12 tongue (it'll soften up after the first 5 days or so), and shortening cables is super easy. You can do all of this on your own or go to a boot fitter and have it done pretty quick.

Any brand will do the same thing. I would try something smaller and work your way up

Sounds like your liners are packed. Hop on the tgr intuition group buy and snag a new set of liners.

There’s no way they are packed, I think they just don’t tighten enough so to skinny ankles. I’ve skied the boots 15 days

My foot is shaped weird it’s something my whole family deals with. No boot really fits me so I think I’m gonna have to modify every boot I get for life lol. I wear 11-12 depending on the brand but usually 12 cause my foots so wide

FTs are deffinently not the boot for you if u have wide feet
