Do they make any leathermans with a locking blade?

im not sure about different states legality of locking switchblades for like having in your car to defend yourself or whatever. But i assume a leatherman with a locking blade would get a pass in most circumstances. A non locking blade is the biggest killjoy. It kills the joy of killing joy if the person was happy b4 you shanked their ass.

Just get a locking folder with a finger flipper. Not considered assisted opening so legal in most places as long as there isn’t a length requirement.

Just go to the bladehq or knife center websites and look around to your heart's content. pretty sure the skeletool has a locking blade though.

I also don't think you will run into legality issues unless you're in commifornia or you're trying to edc an otf knife

Skeletool does indeed have a locking blade. It's a great little tool, not the greatest "pocket" knife in the world but the knife is fine and the bit driver and pliers come in handy from time to time. It's also compact and tough.

I also must add Leatherman have an excellent warranty. I had the AR15 Leatherman (forgot the exact name) Anyways the blade starts locking up for no reason. I send the blade for warranty on Monday and get a brand new one back on Wednesday no questions asked.

Yes, 420hc is garbage. Buck is the only company who knows how to heat treat that type of steel correctly

Yes. And they have for a very long time. In fact, when you're on the Leatherman website one refinement option is "locking blade" which produces 39 results.
