iFlipI really, really don’t need to know who you fuck. Man, woman, other, I don’t care. I don’t want to know. Doesn’t matter to me if you’re straight, gay, or a dolphin. I’d appreciate if you’d keep it to yourself.
Rotten_TrumpkinsHave you ever met a transgender person before?

theabortionatorAlso gotta love the straight guys that talk a bunch of shit, nothing but pussy etc, probably struggle to get laid, but then you're making a big deal out of it if you're like "yo im gay".
JAHBRADORIf someone was fucking dolphins, I’d want to know and I’d be pissed about it.
theabortionatorAlso a big reason for that is visibility, which goes against the doucher "why do people talk about it" vibe. If you didn't know any good skier or your friends were gay it'd be way easier to be an ass on the subject and say cringey things.

RenoTahoeStunnaLesbian woman stuck in a mans body over here howdy.
JAHBRADORI’m an lgbtq+ 2(3*4)*15+60=? trapped inside a gapers body that loves MMA, MDMA, AMAs and the VMAs.
AMA 🥰

theabortionatorNot saying this applies to you but a lot of the people that say "i don't care just keep it to yourself" do care and that's why they say that. Even reading good articles about athletes in our sports that came out, well done stuff, almost all great feedback and lots of shares. Then also a string of " i dont care who you fuck, just keep it to yourself" type comments. Every time.
Weird that a lot of these people that don't care, care enough to comment similar stuff on every post on the topic.
Idk, if you were talking about going out to lunch with your girlfriend it's normal conversation. Same thing with boyfriend, god can you just stop talking about being gay? We get it.
Granted sometimes people bring it up more because people are assumed to be straight. And it really comes up a lot. People talking about who they're fucking etc. I keep it to myself a lot of the time because i want people to get to know me without that being some weird barrier to them and in a way what becomes you identity to them.
Also if you tell somebody you're gay when you've only known them for a little while "Nobody cares, why you bringing that up"
If they find out you're gay later down the road "Bro that's crazy why didn't you say something".
I've moved around a bunch and it happens a lot.
Some people bring it up in certain situstions because they feel like they can't tslk about it sometimes, or just came out. The topic comes up and talking about it feels good especially if they've been keeping it all to themselves.
Idk, if someone posts a picture of their dog I don't say "That's great you have a dog now can you stop talking about it". Although some people's doggo life in social gets a little too overkill.
But yeah, the "I don't care, just keep it to yourself" vibe is bullshit 95% maybe 100% of the time.
Some people are a little overkill and being gay is sort of their identity. That gets annoying but it's not the majority. Honestly a lot of gay people you wouldn't know because shockingly being gay doesn't define people. But sometimes it's nice for people to know so girls stop trying to fuck, and people keep asking about why you don't have a gf, hook you up with a girl etc.
Also nice when people at least don't say the super ignorant homophobic shit they usually say when you're around.
iFlipI'm glad that you put some thought into that response. I wrote my response as I meant it. I really don't care who is gay or straight or other. I also really don't want sexuality forced into my face when I'm not looking for it. Sure, I could have not clicked on this thread. But I still see it there. That's not the issue, of course.
I don't broadcast that I'm straight, as that is forcing an issue of sex upon people. If you're gay (not you specifically, I know you are), I'm happy for you. I'm glad you've found your place, accepted it as part of who you are, and don't feel shame or guilt. As a society (particularly millennials and Gen Xers) we've mostly moved away from stigmas and negative connotations that were previously attached to being gay. I do not see the need to broadcast sexuality publicly, whether it be gay, straight, or other.

[hank]2 things here
1. It's just sex. Everyone does it (with others or alone), and as long as it's consensual, it doesn't hurt anybody! Maybe you should just get a little more comfortable with the fact that humans are sexual beings.
2. If you can't get more comfortable with that, then I guess that's understandable, maybe you've experienced trauma around sex or had experiences that make it hard to discuss. But trans and queer people still get killed for their sexualities, and the whole "keep it to yourself" vibe is a part of normalizing that violence. We deserve community. You don't have to participate in that community, but you do have to respect its right to exist. Think about why lgbtq+ people need that level of respect. Kinda seems like the bare minimum to me.

iFlipSo because I don't want sexuality (gay, straight, other) front and center at all times I must have experienced trauma?
And because I believe that keeping one's sexual exploits to oneself is appropriate, I'm normalizing violence?
You are exactly the kind of person I strongly dislike. You're not a victim. I'm not assaulting you. Society is not out to get you. Button up your overalls big boy and get on with life.

theabortionatorIdk i work grsves and it's my weekend so im tired af after tonights shift and rambling. Im gonna go drink some beers.
larilinesignYessiree I like my women how I like my men, and I like my men how I like my women. If they're classy, cool, funny, sexy, and badass, then I'm attracted.
In the end, what really matters to me is if we have chemistry, whether the feelings are reciprocated, and do we have the potential to form a stable relationship.
theabortionatorThis thread is/ will be shot but gay dude here.
[hank]Hope you get off early enough to catch first chair on pow days my guy

little1337I'm sure this thread will go completely fine
TH3_ARBIT3RFuck you misogynist
I_BohrmannStephanie Stepp is one of the best trans skiers in the game
CatdickBojanglesHow does anyone downvote that?
theabortionatorI get it, it's annoying if you feel like people are in your face about anything. But there are also annoying people that actually hate gay people. There's more of the second still even in 2020. Like I said it's gotten way better but it's still fucked.
I had a boss find out I was gay and tell people at the mountain not to hang out with me because I was gay and a piece if shit basically. Was super fun. That was only 10 years ago.
Idk, everyones experiences are different but there's still some bullshit out there.
Also visibility matters. Like the people that have never met a person from another country, barely see anyone from another ethnicity, and almost never leave their small home town. Their few of "those other people" is super whack.
