What to do with broken skis?

I have several pairs of old skis. I’m looking to hear or see cool ideas of what I could do with them? I may move out in the near future and I’d rather take some cool project with me than like 5-8 pairs of busted ass skis.

obviously a chair or bench is classic. I could make a platoon of shot skis but I’d need to make more friends for that to be of any use.

I had this idea to make a table out of skis by casing them and pouring epoxy in so that you could see all the fucked up skis inside but that would be a lottt of epoxy.

would love to hear some suggestions, thanks!

Ngl a stool or something for getting ready in the Parkinglot would be a flex fr fr. And you could maybe also have a chair chair at home where the stool could be a foot rest thing

Think you could show us a pic of your stack of skis? So we can see the size and personality of them?

Maybe make a shelf to store your gear on with whole skis for the shelf itself and then cut up a ski or two to make the shelf angle frames.

I saw someone used them to build a rack for holding more skis. It was cool

My roommate made a standing coat rack out of some old skis and a stump in college. The stump separated them at the bottom and they came together at the top, then you used the tips as the hook for your coat.

Got this from my girlfriend’s parents on skichair.com, it’d be real simple to make (3 screws total).

Side note, not a maple leafs fan but it’s the only bucket/can I had sitting around

Get a big ol piece of plywood.
Put a layer of paint on it.
Line the skis up and screw em down.
Lean it on the wall by your door.
Hang your coats off the noses of the skis.

Small table using the tips or tails for the legs/feet and then use what straight pieces left over for the top. Lots of good ideas stated above too. I look back and wish I wouldve done something cool with all my old stuff, the Ikea table sucks and has no sentimental value to me.lol

Wayyyy late but I’ll bump this thread just to flex. Might not do anything with them because I’m moving into my car and I don’t wanna leave my folks with a stack of broken sticks or a silly art project.

anybody need a single 179 domain, 185 wall or 188 bentchetler?

I'd take that Domain off your hands. I'm always looking to experiment with different subskis for snowskate.
