Replying to Would "Tell A Friend Tour" succeed in Colorado?

After listening to Andy Parry's new podcast and riding at my home mountain today it got me thinking.

Outside of Colorado's Summit County, in "ski country USA" I don't think the TAFT tour or any similar scenario would succeed here in CO. maybe due to low population levels outside metro Denver, but it has always seemed like over all free skiing numbers are low in Colorado. Growing up here in the state, it seemed like very few people really followed free-skiing closely, and even today it doesn't seem like kids go out of there way to participate.

It just bums me out how un motivated todays youth are, and how unwilling they are to learn.
