Would "Tell A Friend Tour" succeed in Colorado?

last years tell a friend tour stopped at my home mtn and we don’t have the best park but it’s something and that better than nothing and I begged my parents to drive me down that night every day for a month and my dad finally said yes. The day of he got stuck in traffic behind an accident on his way home I was so bummed out. It’s the first time they have stopped here in 8 or 9 years :( I’ve always been more of a fan or the k2 and armada teams tbh still woulda been cool and I was super bummed in the moment

Turnout would be better than the one in Arizona

I know what you mean. Growing up in Denver I was only one of 2 kids who skied seriously. And 80% of the kids already had passes, gear and transport. I guess they just have funner stuff in town idk!

Its not a youth unmotivated/unwilling thing, its a steep cost just to get to a ski area let alone a full setup, clothing, tickets, lessons.
Skiing/snowboarding is a pretty expensive sport if you don't have parents to help pay for anything.

I'm working at a resort mountain town restaurant with a 17 year old kid who has been working the max hour allowed since last summer. When I asked him what he likes more skiing or snowboarding he likes skiing. But since he and his brothers can't get youth rates anymore his parents don't have the money to spare to get them on the hill.
My boss has been telling him he'd lend the commerce partner pass and some gear but his family only has two cars and both parents work.

This kid is busting his ass in a busy (for Covid year) restaurant to be able to buy his own vehicle. He knows he can go into the mountains and play whenever he wants with a vehicle all summer long vs getting a ski season in with school.

It pisses me off when people think "youth" is unmotivated. Go to any casino if you want to see unmotivated, unwilling people. Newsflash: its not the youth. Its boomers.

I haven't been in about 11 years, but it's apparently still a thing and I bet it's pretty kooky. Their website has a huge disclaimer about not ubering there because no one will be available to take you home lol.
