Shell jacket reccomendations

recently had to retire my old arcteryx shell after ripping it pretty badly, looking for something that fits similarly (alpha ar for reference) and wont kill my bank account. preferable that its goretex but its not too important. drop some recs pls and thx

Once you have a new shell it might be worth going through the warranty process with arcteryx to see if you can get the shell repaired. Even if they charge you a little it’s worth it

Yeah true i would try that, honestly at this point tho i would rather buy a new one. The rip is absolutely fucking massive and idk if its repairable, not to mention that the jacket is atleast 15 years old if not older since i bought it from a thrift shop.
