Replying to On3p vs moment for ice coast
Why would you pick one over the other?
The ski will be for east coast, it will be for hard snow days, needed for big drops, runouts, trees and carving, it will also be used in mixed conditions out west and east, but right now in need of something stiffer for low snow hardpack east coast days.
Currently skiing 19/20 commander 108 at -6(rec) and love it, even for east coast but would like something a lil more narrow, less taper, slightly shorter tail for trees, -7 to -10 rec mount, stiff and very moist. Leaning toward the wrenegade and commander, but couldnt overlook the wildcat 101...but i feel the wren and commander will out perform the wildcat for described conditions.
Other skis owned are, captis, stormrider 88, chronic, apostle 98 wood, corvus, bacon, commander 108, yle pro 118 all are either too narrow, too wide, too tapered, or too something...
