Scooter kids on the mountain

okay don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with people trying wacky crap on the mountain to have fun... but.

last week i saw something I’ve never seen before. ski scooters? sciters? idk what to call them but it purely enraged me.

these two (one is off picture) kept hiking up the park IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANDINGS. One of them also crashed on a rainbow box and simply left his scooter thing on the box and stomped off clinching his wrist. Unless you’re really hurt, get yo crap off the features before sulking.


Seeing this reminded me exactly if scooter kids in skate parks. Always in the way, obnoxious and entitled. If you’re good and respect the other people there though, go ahead and shred. For all I care you could backflip a ski bike in the park and I wouldn’t mind. Just don’t be in the way, have some sense of self awareness.

ski scooter guy at Timberline is getting quite good. he’s been coming up for a few years and is quite stoked. I cheer for him from the lift. Just another way to ski IMO

1st thing: dope to see someone on here from stevens.
2nd thing: working at the bike/ski shop in Leavenworth i see people from seattle all the time, it seems like they are the kings of kooks. stupid things roll in and out of the shop every summer and im sure that transfers to winter. had some of those stupid sled dogs come in and im not gonna lie, they looked fun, but the guy who brought them in gave me crazy kook energy.

The scooter kids on the mountain are also the same little fucks who stand by the ledges at the park, sit in the bowl, and leave their shit below euros and the bottom of transitions for me to hit. Definitely wealthy spoiled upbringing translating to zero common sense.

We have a local kid who straight up rips the jump line on a scooter. He knows the rules of the mountain, so I don't have a problem with it. I actually enjoy seeing him from the lift because it looks hilarious.
