Help finding Reverse Camber Skis

Can anyone provide a good list of reverse camber skis to skis the tails of. Really want a real soft pair of skis but having difficulty finding any for sale. K2 Hellbents would be preferred just cant find anyone selling them.

K2 marksman have a lot of rocker and rise. It’s super fun in soft snow absolutely surfs and super fun in the park. I’d definitely check out the new devastators to tho

I love the Chipotle Banana, it is my favorite ski of all time, and I have ridden alot of skis. That being said, if the OP is looking for Hellbents or Hellbent-esque skis, the Chipotles and the Meridian for that matter are not for him.

You should definitely consider them. They are amazing skis. The long radius side-cut with the matching rocker profile and stiffer flex pair perfectly. They ski surprisingly easy but maintain the spine to charge as hard as you could want. I've also never ridden a ski that stomps so hard. Landing bigger airs and they just lock in. I love them so much I bought an back-up pair for the day mine give up the ghost.

What about Line blends they good for the east coast hardcore real shit im skiing and will offer the flex? Super interested in a pair here in NS. And what about boot options to jib around FT’s?

Avoid Parlor OP, their sidewalls are wood and the construction of them is terrible, I’ve seen a couple pairs fail spectacularly because of the sidewall. They’re also way too expensive for what they are. Other than that, Biff knows what tf is up

OP, after reading your questions again - I think I see the the confusion. Did you mean to refer to rocker instead of reverse camber? They’re sometimes used interchangeably.

A ski can have rocker AND camber. Reckoners and Blends have rocker in the tip and tails.


But like @animator said, it’s best to just go to a shop at this point.

Aside from not all shops carry all brands, and they are gonna push what they have in stock, I think this is a great idea. Op it’s hard to tell what your knowledge is, where you ski etc... a shop, even a less than ideal one can help or at least give you some education, if you want something playful, you don’t need full rocker. A full rocker ski is like a banana or bent Dick, your not gonna get much suspension, and its primarily a pow tool. There are different types of rocker, camber, rocker, that are ultra playful, float, carve etc. and offer a poppy playful suspension. So I seriously suggest educating yourself on the technology so you understand your needs, and what a ski salesman is telling you, not all shops are equal and I myself in my youth have been given the cookie cutter treatment and been sold a pair of skis that were less than ideal, when you don’t KNOW what you want, it’s easy for anyone to insert what they THINK you need, so the more you know, the more others can help.

if you got friends with skis, see if someone will let you demo a pair, if not make some, there are a few guys on here like myself with large quivers I’d let you demo if your near PA,WV,NY
Also, idk how immediate your need is, ski, binding and boot sales occur at seasons end, July-aug, and last seasons models can almost always be found at discount, demos are a good buy, look for free binding mount with purchase and buy together to save $60, get your boots from a fitter so your fitting is covered or be prepared to pay, and most important, get the RIGHT boot, right size, no probably not full tilts.

No, they are rocker,camber,rocker but very playful and fun

A ski can have rocker AND camber. Reckoners and Blends have rocker in the tip and tails.


But like @animator said, it’s best to just go to a shop at this point.

OP heres an update so everyone knows where I’m at ski Ride experience knowledge wise. Been skiing on and off for 15 years only have ever ridden 2 pairs of skis. For the last 10 years have been atomic punx 2010’s have skiied gone on mant trips. Have skiied Canada,VT but mostly just ski hardcore east coast real shit in local upstate New York and then take some ski trips to VT. To me the 2010 punx i ride i cant flex like people i see riding other skis. Fell out of love with skiing because just wasnt having fun on the mountain anymore with my skis. So now im looking for a real playful buttery ski to bring back my love for skiing. The original post was because i thought reverse cambers would give me the best chance at this but i understand rocker camber rocker can also do this just want them to be soft enough ... last thing i want is not a playful ski again. So i understand the tech just thought buying a reverse camber would gauruntee me the fun im looking for. After posting im seeing other skis like people say are playful to ride on the mountain. ULTIMATELY im just looking for help with a fun setup that’ll help me fall back in love with skiing thats playful.

As well as looking not to break the bank. so any recommendations or links to skis that’d you buy if you were me that have bindings as well would be helpful. Don’t want to go to a shop and spend 1000+ on something and not have the best experience. Current looking to spend 800 . 550-600 on skiis 200-250 on boots.

Op those are cambered skis, and your description, as I suspected above, tells me you want a rocker camber rocker ski, I’d go around 95-105 underfoot, something like the Magnus if your primarily park, chronic ($399-) for a budget all mountain fun as fuck ski, Jeffrey 98, prodigy 1.0 or 2.0, Volk revolt, lib tech ufo , or Def a reckoner
look at attak 11 bindings, usually a good price $150- , look at attaak 13 if you need over a 9.5 din
you don’t need expensive pivots, a 14 would be a good buy.

powder7.com for good sale demo and new they usually got good prices and will price match, they do mounting they’re a real shop not just a retailer.
What size boots?

I’m in pgh got a Rossi track 130 26.5 I’ll sell ya $100 , great condition, but if Rossi don’t fit your feet or your less than a 104 last they’re not for u
also have 2018 chronic I’d sell cheap local only no shipping it’s a pita, however this particular year chronic is full camber with splayed tips like a punx, and in pow they basically dive, but are still more fun than a punx , your welcome to demo.

They make rocker camber rocker up to like 170mm wide, it’s like 2 snowboards
blends are 100 but just too soft outside of park and prefer you land like your on roller blades, very centered, line outline at 117 very soft, playful and surfy , sfb at 108 is a soft playful ski that is a blast anywhere in almost any condition, last years models of these skis are still around and on sale, full rockers gonna give you no pop
take a look at praxis customs , they usually go down to $799 in august if that’s so able for ya

Found a pretty good deal for faction prodigy 1.0 ‘s with marker bindings or attack bindings on evo at 170 cm think I’m going to go with them thanks for all the support and help biff. Im 5’6 155 want to go a little shorter than my 173 punx

where u able to get green attaaks to match, black would look good too? I’m all about that binding ski combo, my blue/red captis have reds, my white/red sfb , commander 108 red owls have reds too, gold pivots on the yle purple forzas on the blk/purp Corvus

What bindings do you have? Bindings can be the difference between popping out of your bindings when you want to and when you don’t to. This includes landings, butters, etc.

Also, as you get into more intense stuff, you will want bindings with less plastic because it’s less prone to breaking. Bindings with a higher overall din generally have less plastic

Aside from aforementioned, you’ve got your alpine bindings( resort downhill ), your touring bindings (backcountry, require pin tech boots), and things like the duke/shift that allow you to tour with a binding designed for heavier din, downhill and work in the resort with your regular boots.
Take note of your boot sole type before committing to a binding, if ya got a specific question lmk
Consider if you have wanna your or access slack country as you may wanna consider a cast touring system, or daymakers, if your not touring or hiking this doesn’t matter.
Also, you’ve got your stack height, this is how high off the ski your boot is, your taking about millimeters of difference but to some , like me, it’s noticeable. Also, metal bindings, metal pivots, and all pivots , jesters, attaak17 etc are heavier comparatively and not needed if your not bombing and in need of a higher din or serious retention, metal structure.

Another difference, and arguably the most important is elastic travel, this is how far the boot can travel within the binding before it releases, this is important for your safety. So basically, if a binding has 20mm of elastic travel, your boot can move 19mm before your ejected, if it’s 40mm of elastic travel, your boot can move 39mm. Pivots have the best elastic travel, but other bindings are catching up here in their own ways.
For quick comparison, attaaks have the lowest stack height and are top contender for lightest and they retain well I prefer them, easy on in all conditions.
Pivots have the most elastic travel, I feel they hold me in, and pre release less often than any other binding, they are heavy and have a comparatively high stack height, kinda suck to put back on in pow.
sth2 are basically between attaaks and pivots, are easy to step into in pow.
Finally, if you don’t do your own mounting, find a quality ski shop, inspect upon pickup, learn what to look for if you don’t, know where you want them mounted before you go in, and be clear! Consider a post it note stick to skis marking left/right , tips/tails , shops have fucked mounts up before, hopefully top/bottom sticky note is not necessary 😔
