Anyone else on here free the heel?

This thread is a safe space to talk about granola, not showering, that 8" of new snow is more than enough and how we're skiing the way that the Lord intended.

I'm Kody, I live in Tahoe, ski at Squallywood and I'm always down to find new people to cruise around with.

Just got a free set up from my buddy, was home for the holidays and free'd my mind at Alpine for a day while top of mountain was on wind hold, it was wild. The moment I took my first drop knee turn I immediately opened my third eye and experienced nirvana...then my quads exploded. No one told me freeing the heel meant skiing would become a workout, all I wanted was to do a bunch of acid and listen to the Dead. Instead, I felt like I had been doing wall sits the entire way down the hill.

Asking for a friend, how do I even lay down an edge when I am freeing the heel?
