I’m finally pulling the trigger

Over the summer I got a great deal on some 185 2018 chronics that I put some spare pivots on for my new park skis. Great setup for going big.

ive really started feeling like 1 pair of park skis is not enough. Ive decided I want a wider, softer park platform that will also be good in some fresh snow. I have some 120 powder skis for deep days but I wanted my new skis to be somewhat capable. K2 has a very attractive offering in their new Reckoner 102. My question is at 5’ 11” 170lbs should I get 177s or 184s? My 185 chronics feel really long.

also an arguably more important question: black or orange/yellow forza pivot 14s ;)

Don’t get dildo pivots get black and the 184 is gonna feel more stable on jumps but still butterable where as the 177 will be more soft and floppy. Atleast that’s how it is with the marksman and they have pretty much the same construction but different shape

Go 184, the rocker profile is gonna make it feel a lot shorter than it measures. I’m your height and wouldn’t go 177 unless you wanted a dedicated park ski. 184 is gonna be way more stable, float better, and also is still lightweight!
