My edge is coming out where I have an edge crack. Should I put epoxy in and clamp it back together or is there another method. Also what kind of epoxy or glue or whatever.
G-flex epoxy is the best to use its 2 part kinda pricy but it helps. I’ve had this problem all season last year and there is no “sure fire” way to keep it fixed. Eventually you will need to cut out some of your edge, which is ok. I tried epoxying last year on my mag 90s and I ended up having to just take more off, so cutting it might not be a bad idea. If u cut it, go a half inch above and below the last attached spot on the edge to prevent it from pulling out as fast and fill in the gap w epoxy so the core doesn’t like rot. I would also recommend switching your skis onto different feet, even though the base letters won’t line up. I’d like to hear from other people too cuz my new mag 102s already have this happening. Hope this helps.
Yes definitely work some epoxy in there with a razor blade or something and then clamp it. If you leave it as is water will get inside the ski and then freeze/expand and make the gap bigger allowing more water to get in. Gflex epoxy is your best bet but any 2 part marine epoxy should be fine
