Replying to Mounting Tom Wallisch Shorties

Had no luck on the skiing subreddit so thought I’d try here. So, I’m a pretty short teen, so I got the shorties in a 149, got them mounted in the local shop last week. Being an idiot, I assumed the factory mounting points would be at the center since it’s a park ski. Instead, it was wayyyy back, like where they mount rentals. Should I have them remounted at center if I’m mostly gonna stay in the park? Also, why would factory mounting even be so far back on a park centered ski? Thanks guys!
