Boot fit help

Just bought a pair of Hawx Prime 120s and they fit almost perfectly. Exactly what I want in every point on my foot... except one. The toe box is a couple mm too small just on the insides. Will going through the heat mold process on the liner move it out a bit? Or is that just wishful thinking. Bootfitters help.

Toe cap while heat molding should help if it’s just the liner.

They will pack out a bit too after you put about 10 days in em. I hate breaking in new boots. I have a pair sitting on my kitchen table that I've been avoiding because it's never pleasant. But the end result of a proper fitting and functioning boot is absolutely worth it. As mentioned molding the liners with a toe cap will take a couple days off that time, also make sure you're wearing a nice good quality thin sock. Also beer, both for you and the shop tech who will probably help you mold them for free.

Even if breaking in the liner doesn't work, worst case scenario you can have a shop grind or punch out the toe box depending on the amount of space you need. If you have your old liners from a previous boot you can try shoving those in there to see if an already packed out liner gives enough space on its own. It's usually only ~$50 to get a punch, or it could be free if the shop you bought the boots from does that kind of work.
