anders_a2021 1.0 and 2.0 has changed a looooot
skidemon22Prodigies? No.. they ahvent.
CTs? Yes.
Bended_ToenailProds changed a lot too. Much softer and way less rocker.
CT's have the new metal obv
vermontanaI think it is the general consensus among NS that the 2018-19 Candide line had poor durability, Prodigies seemed to hold up better from that era and supposedly the current Candides should be much better. FWIW I had 2018 CT 2.0 and never had an issue so it definitely varied. I have 2020 prodigy 2.0s now and so far they are bombproof.
I would check out the 2.0 over the 1.0 unless you are strictly skiing park, waist width is better suited for all-mountain and they still are great in the park.

DanielHankaI disagree. Prodigies has changed a lot. Candides too.
I would say that prodigies are more freestyle oriented all mountain skis. More snappier and buttery. And CTs are more for skiing and chargin.
So if you mostly wanna hit the park and occasionally shred groomers and stuff.. I'd suggest 2.0s mounted negative 2 or 3 cm from the dead center. Or as I use, the 3.0s, mounted negative 4cm from the dead center. And they just do it all.
skidemon22At the time of writing that, the prodigy 1 and 2 were still the same as they had been for a few seasons. This season I believe the 1 got an all new design. They are on 3 year production/ design cycles (with a few exceptions due to manufacturing partners changing, CT3.0 is a good example)

sarcI just thought of a great way to make a versatile ski.
1) make a park ski
2) wait a couple of years for internet reviews to be posted claiming it's a great park ski
3) redesign it so it's an all mountain carver
4) wait for the new design to get reviews
5) TADA! web search says it's park and cruiser! perfect for the ubiquitous playground
This must be why the big boys keep redesigning. back and forth like a pendulum

gmantrooperI am thinking about getting Factions, did you use the warranty? And how does it work?
