Anyone *actually* ever won an ns contest?

Newschoolers hosts these contests like every week, giving away skis, goggles, you name it. But does anyone know anyone who has won one of these contests or won them themselves? I've entered these contests for decades and never won anything and Ns is a pretty small community but I've never actually heard of anyone actually winning.

Are the contests real?

Or are they rigging them and setting them up so their friends win?

Won a contest from Freeskier once. I was supposed to get a helmet, some Mammoth lift tickets, and a discounted stay at the Mammoth Mountain Inn. Only ever got the helmet.

Also won a backpack from Blister.

I won the Dalbello Il Moro's (that look like they have skate shoe soles) a few months ago through the email sign-up on the site, and it made my Christmas! @Kretzschmar connected me with @DalbelloSkiBoots and they hooked me up with the right size. So far I love the boots!
