Replying to Bringing Backflips to Snow
I am headed to Lake Louise in the next few days and it looks like there will be a bit of fresh snow and I might try a backflip if I find a nice kicker, I am extremely confident with backflips on trampoline as i've probably done thousands over the years of having a trampoline, i've also done them on flat and off of rope swings and cliffs. So I am very confident with the actual rotation but the one thing I am worried about is the weight of my skis and boots, does the added weight change much? Also poles or no poles for first few tries?
Any insight would be helpful
