WTF should I wear to the Deer Valley crab leg buffet?

My mind is firmly set on making a mission to the culinary epitome of fine Deer Valley cuisine, the crab leg buffet.

Ima be going hard, gettin my money's worth.
Crackin and crushin these crabby little claws like high-crab-ohydrate diet is the coolest new craze!

Now, I don't want these high-society Deer Valley holiday tourists judging me on how many trips I'm making (won't draw attention to myself with towering plates), so I'll need expert level camouflage to blend in.

I've already had one unpleasant encounter on Main Street where a pack of pea-coat Ken Dolls made fun of my outfit as they walked by, and my fragile ego cannot handle another such blow.

In this town, people seem to blend in by trying to stand out, so all ideas are welcome.

Craw_DaddyGuy on his phone is wearing a flannel hoodie and the other guy has on what looks like a Patagonia nano puff, some jeans, and boots. Idk where you guys are getting this ken doll stuff from but it kinda seems like there's a bit of projection going on here. That's what everyone wears in the mountain west because it's practical and comfortable. What do you wear?

Rotten_TrumpkinsLmao where's the pea coat? If these guys seem yuppie to you, then you've probably never seen a true brad/chad. I was expecting more from this and am sad to be let down. Their clothing choices are middle class at best.

Curious what you were wearing (or doing) to have dudes "make fun" of you. 99% of guys give zero fucks.

And for the crab leg buffet thingy, who cares what you're wearing or what people think of you. Unless ur tryin to make friends or if there's a dress code, don't worry about it. If someone has a problem, fuck em.


Eh they took their coats off when they got there.

It was a warm day and I was coming down from a day at the park, so I was carrying all my gear shit wearing black ski pants, one of those o ring bandage belts, black vans boots that look kind of like snowboard boots, black beanie, and a black independent trucks long sleeve.. typical metalhead skater look. Was bike locking my board to a gas meter on the sidewalk.

Okay so the crab leg buffet was served as a set 5 course chef's tasting menu, and it was sooooooooooo ritzy as table service. Way way way better and classier than if it was buffet style. There was a lady playing the harp and everything!

Oh hell yeah!! How was the other seafood? Are those clams? Do those deserts taste as good as they look? Deer Valley medallion is a nice touch but hopefully it was also delicious

The standouts were the beet salad, the tomato tarragon littleneck clams, the homemade ice cream sundae, and the chocolate snowball.

Some other good ones were the poke (super fresh), the crab cake, and the red wine mignette sauce for the oysters.

Everything else was delicious, but some dishes were not prepared quite delicately enough because they were bulk cooked. This is the unforgiving nature of such exotic ingredients. Everything on the steak and fish plate on the 4th course in particular was overcooked. That course is like the heaping "kill shot" though, and most people probably don't even make it all the way to it anyways.
