Hey guys, my buddy recently moved to souther california LA area and after years of me telling him he would really enjoy skiing, as he is an outdoorsy guy who is in good shape with good balance and smaller stature, he has finally told me he is willing to receive some advice R.E. how he should make his first ventures into trying out skiing. I'm looking for any and all recommendations to give him regarding
1) Best places to ski within 3 hrs drive of LA area. (best terrain and best for beginners)
2) Best pass options
3) Second hand stores with good ski apparel selection (skis and boots, not so much outerwear)
Having never skied in california I really have no answers for him regarding these questions, and I wanna give him some good advice, so im hoping you guys can help me pass along some good info to him. Thanks for the help NS homies.
