Warren is jut old school, but his last movie cold fusion had JP doing one of te sickest rails ever, it was a rail on top of a bus shelter it was so sick, warren is just old school he is making movies for the yuppies

You gotta respect all our skiing godfathers. The sport has gone beyond what Warren Miller can keep up with, but the difference is Warren Miller made something of his life and made a living out of what he loves, you guys are just sitting here on the internet arguing about it. He lived it. And more power to him if he wants to keep doin' it.
Shane fuckin' up there though. Nothin's more stylee then a Lincoln Loop of a phat cliff.

dudes.....warren miller may be old and shit, but in his day he was the man. i kno ppl are gonna disagree with me here but he is responsible for a good part of where skiing is today. in the day he was the man, just not now.

i agree that he was rad and all in his day, but your comment on 'making skiing what it was today'.... without snowboarding skiers wouldn't have twin tips, and they'd all be wearing friggin spandex... just to mention a few reasons why snowboarding made skiing what it was today.

LETS NOT START THE WHO OWES WHO BULL CRAP!
Everyone owes evryone else for the developement of their sport. Skiers were jibbing out before Snowboards were even dreamed up. The real old hot doggers from the 60's and 70's were laying down tucked 7's, Lincoln Loops, flips, and even hand stands with out any snowboarder help. Snowboarders owe the creation of their sport to skiing and surfing, when someone finally said 'why dont we surf where those skiers are?'.
Thats when the tables turned. Hot dogging was in a rut (except for areals which first mixed the spin and flip, but was really just stolen from diving anyways) and snowboarders were truly progressing the extreme movement with the first flat, and off-axis spins. Then finally skiing had somewhere new to go, and 'new school started.'
Snowboarders owe skiers for the idea of riding down the mountain, and more importantly busting tricks of jumps... and skiers owe snowboarders for saving a dying sport with new school, off axis shit. Agreed?

it was called COLD FUSION! the corny lame ass title sets the stage perfectly for another generic warren miller 90 minute romp around the world in a pathfinder. his film generates like $15 million in revenue each year (I read 13 a couple years back). he doesn't need 15 of my dollars to see footage he buys off other real film companies. he has his place in skiing, but go spend your $15 on a real ski movie produced by someone who needs it.
