Thread to post about and discuss upcoming winter storms.

If you see this thread, it's likely there's a major snow storm somewhere in the US.

Big storm to hit the east coast this week. Unfortunately I most likely won't be able to partake, however seeing snow outside is enough to keep my hype going til I can. Hope you folks out west enjoyed it and hope it's good for anyone in the east who gets an early pow day.

where i’m at in pa we’re supposed to get 18-24 inches, planning to hit some urban spots tomorrow night and maybe even some sketchy backcountry lines if things fill in enough on thursday, then my local resort opens on friday most likely. gonna be hype

Been snowing for a couple of days now in the Boat, starting to stack up pretty good.. Hopefully enough to open some more terrain soon, but we're skiing top to bottom now. Looking like some more snow for the next few days, nothing big but it's getting covered.

Idk but buffalo is getting scammed rn with snow dumps 5-8inches then melts down to maybe 1-2 then snows again then melts.4
but we got cold temps and wind for a big lake effect dump but there saying only a few inches from that noreaster

The storm looks like it’s gonna hit NY pretty good tomorrow night into Thursday morning but I scheduled a job interview for that morning not knowing about the storm.


I’m not mad about missing out on some freshies though. Gotta do what you gotta do in order to make some bread, and there will always be more pow days to look forward to later this season.

we got a nice, dense-r storm rolling through as we speak in UT......Thats going to sit on some absolutely brutal early season and faceted layers on almost every aspect at mid to high elevations. Things haven't been totally all-time this sesaon so far but it is nice to get some heavier snow for base-building purposes at the resorts. Going to be a real dicey time in the BC for the next week or so though but itll be interesting to see what control teams were able to bring down on steeper terrain in-bounds.

Just got 2 hours in in the Berkshires. Nice 12-15 inches. My house back near Albany got probably 2-2.5 feet. Life is definitely good

Cannon is a super solid mountain and usually has some decent powder runs. Not the biggest in NH but definitely always a good time

Hate to break it to you.... But Cannon has the highest vertical feet in the state. Don't get me wrong I usually only ski VT. But yea NH is fucking rad.

zuesHaha my man. Berkshire east and Thunder Mountain Bike Park are the same exact place. Thunder is the biking and Berkshire is the skiing.

I fucking love this mountain for both seasons. I'm heading up on Sat to ride the pow. This is an extremely underrated local hill that has awesome glades.
