skeirmanThen they should just delete the post with the address.

bennyshwayzeLife will kick his ass eventually. The skiing community is too small to pull buschleague moves like the fagan wannabee he is
AstrozapWhat did the kid do
IanAvery-Leafyou'd think that but afaik 3+ years later and Bill Wanrooy still hasn't faced anything from the Revision scandal, he just silently disappeared...
if anyone knows anything new about Bill I'm super curious, still have friends who haven't been able to get a refund due to Revision challenging chargebacks

DesertStixI feel like we kinda did give them a chance to learn from the fuckery we witnessed but they just made a quick, effortless, and vague apology on Instagram and then took it down. Until they’re ready to actually learn from the situation I don’t think the community is being extremely unfair to them.
katrinaThey are still super young. They need ti e and life experience to grow before they can truly reflect on their choices. Some people can do that in weeks, for other people it can take years.

larilinesignYeah I'm a have to side with @katrina and @thatsG .
You kids are trippin over these Fagan kids.
DesertStixIt’s not a “pick a side” issue imo. I think everyone agrees these dudes are skilled and would love for them to make a concerted effort to learn from mistakes. We’re just waiting for that to happen, not irrationally rooting against them
larilinesignThey apologized and now their content is plain ol "instagram smile and wave". Nothing controversial anywhere... Seems like it's happened.
When did all this scandal go down?

katrinaEveryone deserves a chance to grow and learn from their mistakes. That's The sad reality about kids/young adults these days, their mistakes live on indefinitely and with cancel culture there isn't an opportunity to be redeemed. I'm so thankful I'm not a teenager in 2020.
207Katrina, you're severely misunderstanding the lifestyle the Fagans were raised in. Those kids didn't even go to high school, you posted the other day you've got your bachelors and masters degrees. Cancel culture is a bitch but those kids had it coming, they had no sort of formal education and mommy and daddy had no interest in teaching them how to act around others. It's not like if we just left those kids alone they'd grow up to pursue an education and better themselves. Their whole life revolved around the instant gratification they got from mommy and daddy after getting their gold medals. If they weren't cancelled they'd continue on destroying ski culture through horny tik tok and instagram posts and denying the implications of their racist actions in the past. Sure maybe a lot of white kids say the n word when they're 16 and don't know any better, but these kids have multiple videos of them having temper tantrums, sucker punching people in the face, and still haven't owned up to their multiple n word social media posts. I mean they posted their apology video for about 20 minutes before they pussied out and turned off the comments, and now guess what? that video is gone, almost like they still haven't acknowledged they made mistakes. I agree with you that cancel culture is a bitch but these kids had a LONG track record of being shitheads and it's not like they got cancelled for an isolated incident. When you were 16 were you dumb and entitled enough to sucker punch someone who wouldn't let you into their house party?
katrinaRegardless they are still kids, so they have a lot of time to grow and learn from that they've done. I didn't feel this way until I got older and was a teacher for a few years. I don't think they are irredeemable for the rest of their lives and it's unfortunate that their bad choices are going to follow them forever. That's the case for any young kids now thanks to the internet. Not saying I condone any of that behavior, I absolutely don't, but it hasn't even been like a year right? That's nothing in the grand scheme of things. Presumably they are going to live for another 70+ years and I don't believe they shouldn't be allowed to change and grow in that time.
