eheathIts not that bad tbh, its been fine at PC
JpurdIts been fine at Copper, el Dora as well. I was holding out false hope that one mtn in Summit County would stay open without res... but that was just that, false hope. I still imagine folks will be able to ride most days they want to.
eheathFor sure, I think its just the "uncontrolled" crowd just worries the resort.
BrandoComandoEspecially with the holidays coming up. If a resort gets directly linked to a rise in Covid cases, that’s a huge risk to not only their operations, but the operations of resorts throughout the country.
Imagine how destructive the headline “Ski resort negligence leads to 500 new Covid-19 cases during Christmas weekend” would be. That’s what makes lifts stop spinning
MiIfHunterThey are being negligent in the first place by being open! If they have a rats ass they would be closed. There already have been a ton of outbreaks directly linked to ski resorts and it has not been detrimental to them at all. For example, Whistler had a huge COVID outbreak in their staff housing due to overcrowding.
skeirmanYeah this was Eskimo lift Sunday.

JpurdThat looks so damn miserable.
skeirmanIt was fucking stupid. I grew up skiing this mountain and I've never seen anything like these lines.
