Replying to All Mountain Twin Tip Ski 100-108 Help
Hey guys,
Looking for some input here.
As it says on the tin, I am looking for a 100 - 108 twin tip ski. I ski Whistler and other BC hills. 5'10, 180lbs.
This will be the ski that I use for at least 50% of the year. I have a Black Ops 118 for big snow days and for raging. I also have a Blizzard Brahama, which is great for low snow days railing groomers, but not very playful at all.
I spend more time than I would like with the GF and other less experienced skiers on mellow terrain/ groomers. This is the ski I will use on these days, so I want this ski to be fun at carving groomers, but I also want to to be playful, good for spins, switch, and easy to manoeuvre etc. I am pretty shit at freestyle but enjoy it and want to get better on those days I'm mostly just messing about on piste.
I can take a bit of a stability hit in variable conditions on this ski, as I have chargers already. I would however still like it to have some backbone to tackle the whole mountain for when I get off for laps by myself, or for when I link up with more experienced friends.
Skis I'm considering, not a tonne of info out there on some of these.
Moment PB&J / 101
Moment Wildcat 108 (maybe not groomer orientated enough?)
Volkl Revolt 104
ON3P Woodsman102 (not playful enough? I hear the Jeffrey is not a fun carving ski)
Bent Chetler 100
J Skis Vacation
Faction Prodigy 3
Also open to other suggestions
For people that have experience with them, feedback on any of these and how they stack up to what I'm looking for would be awesome.
