Just wanted to humble brag about an absolute steal I found and also make a shoutout to Oberson, dope shop up in QC.
Industry people’s will recognize these probably, very limited run of RX Ri. Part of the heritage project! This shop had 1 pair left and they were my size so I copped for VERY cheap, another shoutout to them. Stoked for this season, although not sure how much resort skiing I’ll be doing. Anyone else wanna post their latest purchase?
Lange gang. Not as retro or limited edition but going to xt3 130 lv from full tilts has been wild, all those years I didn’t know what I was missing riding around in soft flex boots that were a size too big
sorta interested in trying out lange again, i ran my rx130s into the ground and switched over to the mach1 MV 130s. nice boots though dude. Been wondering about these highly sought-after pink langes. Saw them a few times last season at various resorts being donned by rippers and was super interested. Nice steal.

I’m on some Mach1 130 LVs and I’m also interested in checking out rx130. I’ve tried them on at the shop I used to work at. My forefoot has gotten a touch wider at the last so LV is a bit tight now. Still want that locked in heel so RX130 seems to be best solution for me.
sidenote: taking out the top screw on my mach1 130s has helped with boot flex and park a lot for me. 130 is great for all mountain but felt a bit rigid for me in park at times.

I also bought thoose hawk prime 130 xtd!, tested a few boots, lange XT3 was pretty awesome and light, but the atomics were soo comfy, allready have a pair of 2015 hawk prims 130 flex regular. Most anonomymous color EVER though.

Thanks man!! I’ve been looking for these since they were announced and I’m unbelievably stoked. Mach1 is also a great ski boot, personally I find that I get along best with Langes Dual Core plastic. All about what fits your foot!

really digging these newer RX lineups and XT lineups too. Lange has some fuckin sweet boots and has always been good at that.

Definitely some more work put into this years XT3, the old XT was sort of eh. I think the new series strikes a really good balance of walking well and still skiing like a Lange.
uhm is the tounge removable on the hawk prime 130 xtd @onenerdykid ? Guessing no?
I just picked them up an hour ago, opened box at home, and... the tounge was 100% lose laying inside the boot, other one was fine.
I did testfit on friday, and put them reserverd in my name, as my parents were getting me them for christmas but covid and such they wanted me to pay&pickup so I was just there. Store informed me I got the last pair and they are sold out for the season. :o
Definetly not the pair I tried on.

best part is I did... 3 times
I've never had problems with boots until I went to a boot fitter to get my first pair of fitted boots
next year Ima go to a real bootfitter cause it seems like epic mountain gears techs are shit, man didn't even make me take off my shoe last time when I complained of instep pressure.

that's exactly what it is, sucks tho cause I bought my boots there for a STEAL and I get free boot work done, so next year I think ill go to a real bootfitter cause I'm done with this shit

I have a salomon xmax. my feet go numb in them, I'm pretty sure its from instep pressure as I can feel pressure there and then it'll go numb, and I get some arch cramping because of the pressure. I've gotten the footbeds sanded down and just got an instepp punch which doesn't seem like it fixed the problem fully

Yeah, that's not normal. Looks like someone tried them on before you and, like an idiot, yanked on the tongue to get into the boot. This is a total warranty situation and you'll get a new replacement. Get in touch with your shop ASAP though as there isn't much stock laying around.

allready on it, Im looking at liner, guessing the liners are touring specific, but it does say like 27.5-29 on the side? so you can use a pretty wide size of liners?
This is going to sound stupidly simple but have you tried not buckling the middle buckle over the foot? I have the same issue and my foot goes numb because the buckle restricts the major vein on the top of my foot. So, keeping that buckle undone has saved me.
I worked as a bootfitter for a few months so I could diagnose my shit myself. Sucks being on a budget and having a bad bootfitter. My condolences.

No - there is one liner per MP size. Some components are shared, like the same plastic tongue is used on sizes 26.0-27.5. What you are referring to is the plastic liner cuff, which is shared across those sizes.
Store is sorting it, new liner beeing sent from central storage, but europe and germany is shut down so no idea when it will show up.
There is another pair in the country I can grab online, but not to sure about our postal system theese days, last package took 15 days, to travel 25 minutes, and that was sent early des :o
Thanks for the help though! really looking forward to test theese against my heavier dyn 130, I tend to ski my regular non touring atomic 130 hawk primes the most sooo yeah, new liner seems so comfy!
