idk if anyone else follows f1 but I'm a huge fan and mclaren actually did super well this season. they are also getting a Mercedes engine next year (the best engine in the sport) so msp investing in this team actually isn't a bad choice. They have a super promising driver line up for next year with Norris and Ricardo. Looking to be an extremely strong 2021 season for the McLaren f1 team

But...will they actually make any money? Insanely expensive equipment, drivers and crew have huge salaries, and logistically insane to move all that stuff around the globe every week. Just seems like an endless money pit with little return on investment.

Starting off, every team that's been classified for the past two seasons receives $36 million—every team except for Haas qualified this year. Then, teams are paid based on where they finished in the constructors cup—Mercedes was given an additional $61 million for finishing first.

F1 investments are interesting to read about. A lot of shady shit happens in the most premiere motorsport

Everyone is forgetting msp is a film maker not a ski maker, it’s their film brilliance we can expect to trickle down.


I for one can’t wait to hear all of the drivers talk about how there is nothing like driving, they feel free, it’s closest thing flying, etc
