Best way to keep snow from melting?

What's the best method to keep as much snow in the final spring days?
Should I pack it really hard, use salt to freeze it, or build huge mounds of snow?

Build mounds. less surface area exposed to sun/warm = less meltage. This is what Ruka does to allow them to open so early.

mist water on it and let it freeze. also stuff like jumps usually stay longer cus there packed down a ton. and if ur really desperate just put a tarp over it.

I know in a TC episode they used some kinda silver thermal tarp and put some snow in it and folded it
