BigPurpleSkiSuitPlain and simple, you fucked up. You shouldn't get boots that are too big for you. That said there are things you can do to help:
1: wear 2 thick socks. I did this for a year and it actually worked pretty well, those wool socks grandma got you, wear 2 on each foot, this will take up volume.
2.stores often have risers you can put under your foot, try those in there under the footbeds
3.booster straps- these are great for tightening up top and getting that boot to fit like a glove to your shin, wearing booster straps under the shell over the liner was my best shin bang defense I've ever had.
4. Go to your local Walmart or dollar store and get a bunch of beer cozies. These are the ultimate bum tool, cheap foam you can cut up to put wherever you need, or simply wear 1-2 at a time over your shin under your sock.
5: Save money to get boots that fit.
Godspeed
Bigger_Poppathanks dude i have booster straps and ill take to my local ski shop about risers also the ski shop just assumed that they would fit cus they where a size bigger then what i had but ig they didn't account for the bigger toe box
Michigan_SucksFirst fuckup is dropping Langes for Full Tilts.
Bigger_Poppai have always had skinny legs and my foot is about a 8.5 in mens. last year I skied in a full tilt drop kick pro 25.5 and it was better then my langes but i still got shinbang but it was manageable. this year i got the new full tilt tw pros in a 26.5(the next size after 25.5) and i just started using them and what I have noticed it that my toe barley touches the end of the boot but i am able to move it up and down and also i can barely move my heel up but my shin feels locked in place, also i can do all of that with the middle strap fully buckled to its max and by the end of skiing all of them need to be maxed out and idk if its because the boot is stretching or something but its really annoying because i am starting to get shinbang again. i have a appointment on Monday to get them molded and to put a new sole in them because the current one is from my old boot. does anyone have any ideas?
VermontDogFarti’m a 9.5 and i have 28.5 and i can ski mediocrely i haven’t read what people have said but my point is i’m in the same boat
Bigger_Poppanah they where my race boots and they were ass
animatorI ski park in an RX Ri they’re most definitely not ass. That being said, they might not have fit your foot. Boots aren’t inherently bad, they’re just not necessarily a good fit for everyone’s foot.

animatorAnd congrats on buying boots since the 5th grade, you know everything ab boots now 😂
animatorNo such thing as half sizes in the ski industry buddy
katrinaI measure to a 25.5 and ski a 23, I think most people size down at least a size.
TRVP_ANGELah yes the good old chinese girl foot binding technique..

Bigger_Poppaexplain plz
HAMNATIONMaybe because you’re NS name is bigger and a 26.5 full tilt is too big for you....
Jk I have 25.5 full tilts that are almost too snug but the 26.5 is like a swimming pool for my feet. Also feel way to high in the calf by a lil bit.
animatorAny brand that sells full sizes and half sizes (e.g. 26.0 and 26.5) it’s just a placebo. 26.0 and 26.5 shells and liners will be identical. Only difference is the 26.0 will have a thicker foam spacer on the bottom to take up more room and account for that “half size”
JpurdHonestly? Sell them, go to boot fitter, and let them put you in whatever boot fits.
Whenever I get new boots, I don't care if I'm in a women's racing boot, as long as it fits properly.
