Shops that carry on3p In Canada

Does any know of any shops on the east coast or that I can buy from online that carry on3p that are Canadian.

I was going to say Fresh in Calgary but looking on their website it seems like they've dropped ON3P.

i think on3p no longer sells to shops, could be wrong but i havent found a single shop in america or canada that sells em. pretty wack move imo

They avoid the middle man and paying fees, and they make more money which means they can keep making cool skis why is that wack

It's not wack but it does make the brand far less accessible for most skiers.

i dont buy skis online since id much rather support a shop, on3p is a sick company but unless theyre in a shop im not gonna buy them.

I was in fresh 2 months ago maybe and they had some jefferys and woodsmans, they also said they were ordering more so i dont think they've dropped them

I've never understood this sentiment, especially applied to indie ski brands. Support your local shop, use their services.

That's cool. But at the same time realize that ON3P has to sell to a store for significantly less than their retail on a ski. This makes it a lot harder to justify selling to shops when you don't have the scale like a massive global company.

Yeah thats fair and i can see why they would do that, just sucks that i cant go feel the skis out before i buy them

I haven’t “felt out” a ski in years, I’ve been skiing long enough to know how build material, side cut, weight, rocker profile all contribute to how a ski skis. If you won’t buy skis because you can’t finger fuck them in the store, that’s definitely more wack than ON3P not selling in stores IMO. Bring on the downvotes

Why because not every single human has internet on their phone? I'd argue they are more accessible being straight to consumer internet based that's ridiculous.

I dont even know what the fuck a sidecut is tbh, i barely know how skis are even made. Call me uninformed or old school or whatever but yeah in tryna finger fuck skis before i buy them lmao

I like feeling up stuff :D

I dont feel flex translates that well on the internet, and some skis feel way different than expected, like for me 102 Fr, revolt 104, mantra 102 as very good examples

but honestly, the on3p is pretty damn amazingly built, way better than expected, and I had high hopes, but I do understand their direct to consumer way of selling, its 0 point of having lots of stores wanting the product at 50% or more off their prices, when you sell so much you can barely keep up stock as is.

I find buying things in Canada in Canadian dollars more accessible. The conversion from US to CAD hurts, and then there's the fun waiting game of seeing how much I'll actually have to pay to get the product. I find it much easier when someone else has jumped through the hoops of importing the product and I can just buy it at the store. I've been hit with various duties and brokerage fees for several Christmas purchases this year because I'm avoiding going to stores, and I find it frustrating to 1) not know how much I'm actually going to pay for something when I purchase it 2) have to go and wait in line at the post office for 45min+ to pay the duty and get my package instead of having it dropped off at my door.

ON3P is worth it for me and thankfully the skis are exempt from duty (although sometimes you'll get charged it anyways and have to do the paperwork to get it refunded - another headache I wouldn't encounter buying the item in store). But overall it's pretty common for me to avoid buying stuff online from American sites.
