Replying to Always expect a hit when reselling skis
Skis are always worth less than people think. It’s crazy how many people don’t understand this.
Also, you must make a decision when selling skis: 1) expect more money and sit waiting for the right buyer (this runs the risk of marketing exposure and potential costs/depreciation) 2) sell it for cheap for a quick sale.
I’m shocked at how many people don’t understand this tradeoff. Personally, I always go for option number 2. I love to hook another skier up, and hopefully that karma circles back to me.
