Replying to Backcountry activities' effects on wildlife

HypeBeast:
There's SOOOO many threads on skiing backcountry areas and avalanche safety. Soooo many threads about people waving their dicks saying how much more responsible they are. Soooo many posts about people complaining how city slickers are ruining their pristine wilderness. Even threads/posts about how people say it's better for the environment because they're not traveling. This year has obviously brought up a lot of interest in venturing beyond the resorts.

Have you guys ever thought about the impacts that you're causing to wildlife? Winter or not, it's real and detrimental. Google it.

"I'm only one person". "I've been doing this for years". "I respect nature". [insert any generic core comment]. Perhaps reconsider your backcountry trip this year, not for your own safety, but for the preservation of the wild we all want to stay wild.

Discuss and of course, bring on the downvotes.
