Anyone found an eco safe wax that works well?

@DominatorJacques has a pretty heavy wax obsession. Said he's going to try only those kinds of waxes for most of this season and see how they hold up. Worth following that, as far as right now I'm not sure. Haven't tried any myself.

Purl wax is super nice and doesn't use perfluorooctanoic acid which is the toxic shit in most waxes

a lil expensive I think but worth it imo. highly recommend

This stuff is gas, been using it for years. Made with hemp oil rather than petroleum, way better for the environment.

I work in a shop and we use all Wend wax for everything including race skis. It's super fast and smells good too

Here is the latest from Dominator for race. They have always made plenty of non-fluoro waxes that are good as well.
Dominator is the only company that makes their own fluoro additives and always taken the extra steps to remove all POFA from their fluoro waxes and Fluorocarbon. All made in the USA!
It was because of massive amounts of PFOA's in fluorocarbon waxes and overlays that waxers were getting too much of that stuff in their bloodstreams. The leader in there was stuff like Toko Jetstream. All the fluoro additives were coming from factories that did not care to remove the PFOA's

Whether it comes from a plant, or petrol, it's still oil. It is refined, so think about that. Kinda like hash oil.
If it makes you feel good ...........do it.

WEND has a few blends of clean biodegradable non flurou stuff that ive been using for the past few seasons. Its not entirely "earth friendly" wax but definitely can report good experiences with it.

Yeah for the record, this stuff is a lot better than petroleum for the environment. Their marketing is also A1, hence a bunch of pros endorsing it. I had a rep come by my shop and give us some samples to try, and it was not very good in terms of performance. Just my $0.02 but it felt like my bases hadn’t been waxed in years after I put this stuff on.

Yea, so many other thing one can do to help our environment.
Ski wax is inconsequential for the most part.
