G3 pole baskets

Hey NS,

I got a pair of 2016 Pollard's Paintbrush poles a couple years ago. They're great poles, but the baskets included are shit quality and I managed to break both pairs; they exploded into several pieces.

Right now I'm eyeing the G3 all-mountain and powder baskets. I already contacted G3 to ask them if they would be compatible with another brand of poles but they replied that they are unsure as the thread is specific to their poles.

Has anyone purchased a pair of G3 baskets to use with a different brand of poles? Should I just buy them and figure out a way to jab them on?

probably going to be easier to take the poles to a shop and seeing what fits rahter than trying to figure out what fits over the internet or you could buy a set of calipers and measure the poles and then get a measurement from g3 on the diameter of their poles where the basket goes but that'll take you longer and cost more
