Light park skis

Ive been riding heavy ass skis for the past few years and im tryna switch it up a lil, any skis that are light enough to whip around but still somewhat durable? I ride a 184 usually so bigger sizes would be sick too

vishnu’s are hella light, like honey badgers are super light but not very durable, most narrow skis are gonna be light but you probably already know that. most line skis are pretty light

Lol my currents are arv86 and ive ridden poachers in the past, not light lol

Lol arv 86 are 1800 grams per ski at a 184 length/ prodigy 1.0 are 1680 at a 181 length/ line Tom wallisch pros are 1800 grams per ski at 178 length/ line hunny badgers are 1661 grams per ski at 177 length. Arv’s are a pretty light ski on paper but maybe it the length mixed with the narrow underfoot that makes them feel heavy, your best bet would probably be the prodigy 1.0 if the arv weight bothers you but that is only a 240 gram difference overall so that’s half a pound we’re talking about

I might be wrong but I feel like the bindings you put on the skis have more of a effect weight wise than the skis them self but I’m totally making this up

I ride poachers they are probably one of the heaviest and burliest park skis I’ve ridden, but I don’t think it’s too hard to whip them around for tricks. They can take a beating

I wouldn't recommend the K2 Poacher if you want something light. Its a great park ski but more on the burly side for sure. There's always the K2 Sight though...Pretty traditional twin, lighter than the Poacher, a bit easier to get whip around.

Do you know what the Tom wallisch pro in 164 weighs? Or if it’s worth it to change to faction

On the scale the different between a light biding (like the Attacks) and a heavy binding (like the Pivots) is indeed much greater than the difference between light skis and heavy skis, that behind said the weight of the binding is very center and closed to your feet, so it terms of skiing feel it doesn't make as much of a difference.

Claimed weight and actual weight can be different. I weighed my 178 allplays and they're 1860 grams. Jskis claims 1945 so they're overstating the weight or my scale sucks.

Not a dramatically heavy or light ski really....

I always felt my blends were super light. On some magnus 90s which feel really light towards the tip and tail too.
Bear in mind it also has to do with bindings. Metal pivots are obv heavier than plastic markers.

rmu rippahs, helix 88's, wets and badgers. 184 is pretty big and assuming you're a bigger boy you'll probably end up destroying a bunch of the skis. best bet is to hit the gym if you are concerned about an additional 200grams on each foot

Not sure exactly how much 164 weighs but it’ll be less then 1800 and I honestly love factions, the prodigy’s have never been heavy and the old CT’s are also light just but the 2021-2022 is when the CT’s had an added titanium layer, I think prodigy’s and tom walishes and equally light but prodigy’s are directional twin tip
