j_oskiDepends on the situation, I do both pretty frequently. Kick step thing is nice if you are going for a superman or need extra pop off the takeoff, other way is nice if you are going off a divingboard-style takeoff, tryna grab truckdriver, or just going for the lawn dart

reeskiI’ve seen people guck front flips of basically nothing. How much easier is it then a backie?
rubberpantaloonsBoth are equal in my eyes, fronties are less scary but easier to fuck up forsure backies are scarier at first but honestly pretty easy after u do a few

Emma_Watsonisn't it called a tame dog or ninja flip
JhaekYou think you're front flipping but you're actually tame dogging - completely different
DominatorJacquesWhat is the difference? I never heard of Tame Dogging.
JhaekI was joking it is a front flip but with 2 foot forward

MinggNot an expert so I could be way off. But, with front flips I feel like you can get your moment going forward, with or without a lip (and the step kicky thing helps initiate the flip too). But for a backie, it’s a lot hard to initiate the flip without the help of a lip. I mean, you can do it from flat but it’s way harder to get your weight back than forward imo. So that might be what you’re seeing?
