_tmillsskierWho knows the story of Jason Leventhal? I get emails that are addressed from him regularly... but from what I know historically J skis hasn't been the most durable or quality skis. Am I stuck in the past or is this accurate of J skis today.
270on420outApparently they’re virginity protectors.
J_skisHey yo! Taylor from J, I'm the marketing / team manager helping Jason run everything you see from the brand.
Hugely appreciate everyone chiming in with their stoke and support! Glad you're all digging the skis - makes my job a hell of a lot easier, haha. As far as Js being "not the most durable or high quality" that's 100% an idea stuck in the past. No doubt the first year of production in 2013 had it's quirks while Jason, Francois (our engineer) and JF (our production manager) worked out the kinks on building a new product, but that's long sense been improved and I can say with confidence we make some of the most durable skis on the market. We even offer a Lifetime Warranty against ANY manufacturing defects for the life of the product and see a dramatically lower warranty rate than the industry average. You can read about our warranty policy here: https://jskis.com/pages/warranty-1
I won't go into all the tech crap about why our skis are durable and perform the way they do, but just for some examples of durability and how long skis last our athletes, Sam Zahner only used 1 pair of Allplays for his entire RealSki part. Derek Simpson, Justin Kennedy and Joel Magnusson barely blow through a pair per season. I was definitely a skeptic before I started working here but with multiple seasons of first hand experiences, working with all our athletes and thousands of testimonials from customers I'm 100% sold.
Remember we also offer a Money Back Guarantee, so you can mount the skis and ride them for up to 5 days and if you're not completely sold after that send them back for a different size, model or full refund. It's honestly risk free.
anders_aPlease make more hotshot in non children sizes.
BigPurpleSkiSuitId like to second this and request a 220 hotshot with an extra layer of titanal at 112 underfoot for absolutely no reason other than I want to look as steezy as Ethan swadburg does.
anders_aIt was a reference to them selling out of the 189 constantly first.
