Dalbello Krypton 120 vs 130

I think they only make the 130s in the ID version which is for narrow feet. I have average width feet and skied in the 130s all last season and they were extremely uncomfortable. If you're getting them from a boot fitter then make sure you swap out the footbeds and get the shells heat molded. I did that a few weeks ago and it made a world of difference. If you charge hard then go with a 130 flex boot. you won't regret it. It's like having a suspension on a dirtbike thats tuned for racing vs one thats tuned for comfort you get better performance out of higher flex boots.

Damm thanks for pointing that out, definitely have a wide foot so I’ll just wait for the 120s to come in.

Sorry, but this is wrong. ID is the wrap liner, and has nothing to do with narrow vs. wide, rather a custom moldable liner vs a stock/tongue one. Krypton vs Kryton AX is what you're thinking of, with AX being medium volume and Krypton being the standard narrower last.

Ohhhhh gotcha, makes sense the 120 is called krypton AX 120 I.D, while the 130 is called krypton 130 I.D

Anyhow they don’t offer the 130 in the AX so I’ll wait untill they get the AX 120 in, good to know it comes with a special liner tho

I skied the 120’s last year. I am about the same stats as you. Very comfortable and skied great. I have an average width foot and felt there was a little room to spare. I did the heat treatment on the liner for this year just to see. I had a spot on the outside of one foot that kinda sticks out and also wanted a little tighter overall fit. After the treatment it felt even better on both feet. Great boots!
