Bent Chetler 120 length

Hi, I just can’t decide whether to choose the 184 or 192 length bent chetler. Im 6’1 and around 200 lbs. I am an advanced skier, and generally a charger, but I dont want to lose all the playfulness of the ski. The chetler Skis short, and have a lot of rocker. So I am leaning more towards the 192 than the 184. Furthermore, I have shorter freebirds for playing around in the woods. Thoughts?

Definitely 192. It will be much more stable and chargy. The only reason to get the 184 is if you will be doing a ton of touring and want a lighter weight.

Definitely go for the 192. A ski with that much rocker will ski really short. For reference I moved up from 155cm park skis onto 172cm moment pb&js this year and didn’t notice a difference in length just because of the rocker. Especially since a ski like the bent chetler also has an equal amount of tail rocker. What length do you usually ski?

Right now, the other pair I ski will be the black crow camox freebird at 178, which will be used mostly for longer touring, and resortskiing at harder snow days. Personally I think they are way to small, and that I made a huge mistake when I bought them. But currently I only have money for one new pair, which will be the chetler.

Get the 192. The rocker is not huge. But big skis are fun

the 192 doesnt feel heavy or sluggish. but.. Im 6'3.

I am on the fence as well. My feeling is it all depends on where you are going to use them. If you are going to be skiing tighter lines I would think the 184s would be better. Bigger/wider lines then the 192s.

I think the weight dictates 192

I agree with the above post, your weight definitely makes me think you will have way more fun on the 192 and won't lose very much playfulness. For reference I am 6'3' and 175lbs and my 192 can be pushed pretty hard, but is still super playful.
