Skogan or Mad trix?

I'v never ridden the mad trix but I'v picked em' up or tried to, they are super heavy with the mad trix bindings. but the skogens are sick, I found them to similar in performance to my 1080s.

umm two completely different skis, for two completely different styles of skiing. ride before you buy. that's all I can say.

Mike is right, you must demo stuff before you buy it and also they are two totally different boards.

Skogen - Probably the best all mountain ski you'll find in a 176. Nicer to ride than the 1080, better edge respons, slightly forward stance so good for jumping/jibbing, soft but not very forgiving, skis like a dream in most conditions

Mad Trix - Weighs a tonne, pretty bombproof. I hated it for all mountain, couldn't really keep an edge on it at speed, fell over a lot, didn't like speed all that much, was alright in the park but like someone else said, it weighs so much, dunno, Olson seems to like 'em.

if you want a light soft ski the skogens would probably be nice much softer than the mad trix

haha, nah I would still go for the skogens aye, they are very soft and if you're only 125 you'll like 'em. I'm about 180 and over 6'2 and I love 'em, they're a great ski, you can throw pretty much anything at them and they take it nicely, very nice ski. I would rate them way over the concepts.
