iRide1080sLearning to ride rails unnatural foot forward would be a huge help down the road.
I would also work on front 2 and back 2 off. The mechanics of gripping the rail with your lead foot will help you gain more control and will also help with larger spins off and switch ups.
VermontDogFartshould i definitely make sure i can 3 first? bc i can’t

VermontDogFarti tried a couple times but it always ends up being a 180, any tips?
rubberpantaloonsFront 2 is probably the easiest trick to do after learning rail slides
VermontDogFartfront, back, blind, pretz, and continuing confuses me i’ve heard them all and i only know like half of them in certain situations

sqeellicbicThis. Especially learn unnatural rail slides as soon as you can do it natural. It's kind of like learning a language as a kid vs as an adult. Just like it's easier to learn a language when you're a kid, it'll be easier to learn unnatural right away as opposed to hitting rails natural all season and then trying to learn unnatural later on because you'll be so used to it.
johnoblenot going to help you much down the road, but i learned lip ons, backslides, and 50:50s before any spins off, if you have a spinning block those can be fun ways to keep progressing
The.FishIf it means anything, I learned how to do front 2, blind 2, and front 4 before doing a 360 for the first time. I still rather do a kfed (front swap blind 2) then try to huck a 3 on a jump. That shit is scary to me for some reason.

Young_pattyOne thing I wish I did more when I learned to hit rails was to really learn unnatty slides (unnatural foot forward) well before learning other tricks- it’ll help so much with swaps and 270’s on in the long run
