so, I just bought my first real pow ski. Rossignol Black Ops 118. I am 5'10, 160, I have a park background and primarily skied on center-mounted skis. I am an expert skier, comfortably skiing anything in bounds on the East Coast. This winter I am out in Colorado. My current daily skis, K2 Marksmans, are mounted -1.5 from center. I basically like to ski as fast and hard as I can all the time. Where do you recommend I mount my new skis? I was thinking of just mounting them at the recommended -2.5 from center, but wanted to ask here first before I do anything.
From all the pairs I've sold of that ski (and the ones I've skied), everyone went with the recommended and loves em. Still has a very even swing weight for spins n such but with just a wee bit more tip for better float. I think you'd be stoked on the recommended spot!
