How to participate:
First you'll have to join the Newschoolers Scumbags society on PGA 2k2. Just search for it under the societies tab and send a join request, and then ping me and I'll accept it. League events take place inside of the society.
Format:
The season contains 4 events spanning 2 weeks. You'll play these events on your own time. Each event is 36 holes, which means that you'll play the course twice, but tees and pins will be different the second time around. Events should take around 30-45 mins to complete. Each week, there'll be one event from Monday-Thursday, and another event from Friday-Sunday. You can break each event up however you like (e.g. for the first event, you can choose to play the first 18 holes on Tuesday, and then the next 18 on Thursday. Or you can do them all at once). However, you must finish your event before the deadline. Scoring is just standard stroke play. Difficulty is set to Pro default settings, except with no putt previews.
League points:
Since PGA2k21 doesn't have a points system to keep track of rankings across events, we're going to use our own. You'll get points for each event based on how you place. For instance, if we have 8 people in the league, then 1st place gets 8 points, 2nd place gets 7 points, all the way until last place who gets 1 point. If there's a tie, then the tied players would share the points allocated to their tied positions. For example, if there's two players tied for first at an event, then both of them would get 7.5 points. At the end of the season, whoever has the most points wins the league. I'll update the league leaderboard here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EQ-K05dqqTuukYx4WQWoJC69f58cUWcaQS9wgYLgQuQ/edit?usp=sharing) after every event.
Prizes:
Winner gets a $10 steam gift card. Runner up gets a $5 steam gift card. Canadian dollars.
