What exactly is used in Völkl “tough box construction” sidewall?

I just got some 19/20 Revolt 95s for a good deal and I’m always interested in sidewall.

Does anyone know what they use for the sidewall? ABS? UHMW?



I can’t find anything online.

Pretty sure they use ABS.

The tough box is something different though. Rather than having a layer of woven fibreglass on top of and under the core to reinforce the core, like the majority of sandwich construction skis, they have tube of woven fibreglass that wraps around the core.
