Yeah unfortunately it seems like the big guys like 12 inch diameter are kind of hard to find/expensive
i don't suggest messing with someone's work by stealing them but I have had good luck sometimes asking the construction site dudes if they have any extra they can spare.
Still never scored one of the super fatty ones myself though, those things would be perfect
Construction site for sure, just hit someone up and ask if they have any damaged or miss cut pipe that size. Might not get 12" but you might get a 8" or 10".
Hit up your local plumbing store, they might even have some damaged pieces that they are willing to get rid of for free or cheap.
Teardown construction is a gold mine. These were sitting behind the science building at UMass Boston last spring. Haven't checked but they might still be there.
